My friend Rachael has the sweetest dog in the whole world.
His name is Mowgli.
Mowgli has a little problem that he's been battling with for the last couple of days.
He's walked in from outside one day and his back leg wasn't working.
Things continued to get worse and he eventually lost function in his other leg and then lost control of his bladder.
Rachael took him to the vet and he couldn't figure out what was going on.
So she took him to another vet and he spent the night. The next day they took another x-ray and found that Mowgli had broken his back.
He's only two years old, just a young little guy and the surgery is definitely worth it.
Rachael loves that dog more than most people (I'm pretty sure).
The surgery for his back is around $6,000.
Rachael isn't really financially capable to pay for the whole surgery.
She has set up a fundraiser for him on her blog
